Our Companion Therapy Laser is part of our pain management program. It utilizes various light wavelengths to decrease pain, inflammation and healing time. Laser therapy is a comfortable experience for your pet. We use it post- surgically on incisions, as well as out-patient to treat arthritis and acute painful conditions such as back injury. It can be used to treat ear infections and lick granulomas, as well as most skin wounds. Many of you remember Sparky, our burned kitty from 2012. We are convinced that daily laser therapy played an integral part in treating his deep burn wounds, saving his limbs from amputation, and speeding his recovery to the healthy sassy cat he is today!
All of the vets and staff are caring, friendly and outgoing when it comes to all pets and their owners. We have 2 kitties and one puppy and wouldn't trust or go anywhere else for their care.

Dear Clients,
We sincerely hope everyone is staying safe and well during this pandemic. We are still taking precautions with our operations and maintaining “curbside” service at this time. We are not permitting clients into our building for regular visits or pick ups. We appreciate your continued support and patience as we do our best to ensure continuity of care for our patients. Please understand that our team is considered part of the critical infrastructure workforce that continues to work through the pandemic. Unlike human medicine, we are working in much closer settings to provide the necessary care and treatment to our patients, and for that, we need to reduce our risk of exposure in order to remain available for our community. We also do not have a dedicated set up for maintaining social distancing in our exam rooms and lobby to safely see all of our clients in a timely matter. We ask for your understanding and continued support as we work diligently to be there for you and your pet. The following information applies to all of our clients at Andover Animal Hospital coming to our facility.
Curbside Care
If you or anyone in your immediate household has been exposed to COVID-19 with the last 14 days, please refrain from scheduling an appointment with us during this time.
If your pet is sick and needs care, and you or a member of your household is sick with symptoms of COVID-19, please notify our staff so we can make a plan for care.
When you arrive at the hospital, please remain in your vehicle and call us at (973) 940-2276.
We will take your information and a Technician will direct you on bringing your pet to us.
Once our Doctor completes their examination of your pet, they will call you to review their findings and recommendations for treatment.
When your pet is ready to go home, our Receptionist will call you to check you out over the phone and direct you on picking your pet up.
Thank you for your continued trust and understanding with us during this time. Please call us if you have any additional questions.
